Climate change provokes intense debate and discussion all around the world, with a whole range of opinions over its priority and what action should be taken. How should we respond?
Dave Gobbett, author and pastor of Highfields Church Cardiff, will help us to think about the key issues surrounding the environment and climate change from a Christian perspective.
Come along to see how the Bible can give us a practical understanding of how to take care of the world we share.
Artificial Intelligence – What sort of future are we creating?
Sunday 11 October | 6pm
Ysgol Gymraeg y Fenni, Llwynu Lane (formerly Deri View primary school)
Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how we work, communicate and live, bringing potential benefits such as advances in healthcare and greater prosperity. But there are also concerns about job losses, human autonomy and even the existence of humanity itself.
Our panel will explore some of the key questions from a Christian perspective, with each person bringing their own areas of expertise to the discussion:
· Rev Dr Jason Askew (Theology and ethics)
· Mr Tim Dale (Technology)
· Dr John Northfield (Healthcare)
· Professor Malcolm Prowle (Economics)
Both evenings are designed to be thought-provoking, and are open to everyone
